Do I need a cartilage piercing?

No. The butterfly at the top is a cuff that clips onto the ear. Only the chained stud uses a standard lobe piercing.

What comes in the set?

One butterfly cuff joined by two chains to a butterfly stud, plus one separate matching stud for a second piercing or the other ear.

How long are the chains?

The two chains are 6 cm and 8 cm long, so they drape in two loops from the upper ear to the lobe.
